Payton Feltner was born at 23 weeks on April 6th, 2024, to Matt and Ashley Feltner. Matt is a beloved custodian at Northwestern High School.
Payton’s parents were blessed with two brief weeks to know and love her while she was cared for in the Akron Children’s NICU. One of Matt and Ashley’s favorite things to do with Payton during that time was to read to her.
Payton departed this world on April 19th, 2024. Matt and Ashley hope to bless the Akron Children’s NICU with this book drive each year so other parents may know the blessing of connecting with their child through reading.
The Pages for Payton Book Drive will run from May 7-May 21, 2024, at Northwestern High School. New books for babies can be dropped off in the NHS entryway during school hours (M-F).
