Reminder to those who rented a tux from Liberty Studio, they will be here in the front parking lot on Monday morning for you to return them.
Corner of Truth will meet once again on Monday, April 29. All students and staff are welcome to join us during either 5th or 6th period in Mrs. Becker’s room as we discuss the armor of God. Please bring your lunch to eat during this time, and CCP students are welcome to attend as schedules allow. Whether you attended or not last session, we hope to see you there!
With Mr. Negro retiring, the Northwestern Band Boosters would like to put together a SURPRISE memory keepsake for him to honor his years of directing the Northwestern bands. to submit a favorite band memory of/with Mr. Negro, a story about how Mr. Negro affected your life, and/or pictures of Mr. Negro with the band that we can put into a book to give to him. Northwestern High School seniors, please check your school email for information regarding graduation and other important end-of-the-year dates. There are hard copies available of the information in the office, and there is an alternative digital version of the information on Northwestern Local Schools website.
Cookies and Canvas is back for the spring! Join us for a fun painting event at Northwestern High School. Using a step-by-step approach, learn how to paint a beautiful painting to take home. No experience necessary. Cookies and Canvas will be Friday, May 10th, beginning at 4:30 PM. Reserve your spot now, they fill up fast. Sign-ups and money are due today,April 26th or until we reach 100 people.
End-of-Course Testing Schedule:
April 30 & May 1 – Alg. 1/Geometry.
*All classes will be run on a two-hour delay schedule on April 16, 17, 30 and May 1. Non-testing students will need to arrive by 9:20 a.m.
*Students NOT being tested on April 23 and 25 will have regular class times and follow their normal schedule.
*Students being tested should arrive by 7:15 a.m.
NHS Grand March and Prom will be held on April 27. The Grand March will start @ 5:30 here at the HS followed by the Prom @ 7pm held at Greystone Event Center in Wooster. Out-of- school guest applications are now available in the front office.
Any student that filled out a parking permit application on Final Forms and did not receive one yet, please stop in at the front office and get your hang tag. Parking tags are to be kept in your vehicle.
Student Services Announcements
Attention students that are planning on taking CCP courses next year, please check your email. You should have received a CCP application link to the college or university that your class will be through. Your application must be completed before May 1. If you did not receive an email or you need help with the application, please stop by the Guidance office during an academic assist or study hall.
Any student who is planning to take Financial Management as a summer course should stop in Student Services and pick up an information form. This is a required course for graduation and is worth .5 credit. The course will be accessed through Google Classroom. Interested students must join the Google Classroom (code: 6lzm3xu) by May 13, and the $75 fee must be paid to Mrs. Reed in the front office by May 17. All assignments and tests must be completed NO LATER THAN Friday, August 9, 2024. An additional fee of $50 will be charged to any student who wishes to continue the course after that date. Information forms are also available on the Student Services webpage.

Seniors, please be sure to check Naviance for Scholarship opportunities. New scholarships are being received and posted. You don’t want to miss out on a chance to get help with college expenses.
Seniors, if you have requested a recommendation from a teacher through Naviance please check that they received the request. Naviance has had some technical errors, and your teachers may not even realize that you have requested a recommendation.
