Northwestern Local Schools Talent Development Program

In accordance with the belief that all students are entitled to education commensurate with their particular needs, gifted and talented students in the Northwestern Local Schools are provided the opportunity to progress as their abilities permit. Northwestern believes that these students may require programs and/or services beyond those offered in regular school programs in order to realize their potential contribution to themselves and to society.

What is ODE Javits I-Get-GTed?

ODE Javits is a FREE professional development resource that includes:

• Strategies for meeting the unique instructional, social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students.

• Strategies for differentiated instruction to help all students achieve value-added growth.

• There are modules for the following: Facilitators, Classroom Teachers, Administrators, Psychologist, and Guidance Counselors.
