Athletics this week

Good morning Huskies! There is a lot to note in this week's update so please read carefully.

Senior nights this week: Tomorrow is Volleyball's Senior Night which will take place between JV and Varsity. Friday is Senior Night for Football, Band, Cheer, Cross Country, and Golf which will get underway at 6:20p.

Cancer awareness night: Friday is Cancer Awareness night for our community, we encourage you to dawn the ribbon for your loved ones or your own battle against Cancer, and we would like to post words of encouragement, messages of support or wisdom from survivors around the venue. Please fill out THIS FORM so we can display your message for all to see.

Postseason draws: Yesterday we were given our tournament path for Volleyball, Girls soccer, and Boys soccer. Volleyball will open up the tournament at United on 10/22 at 5p. Girls soccer will open up at Loudonville on 10/21 at 7p. Boys Soccer will open up at Badger, this game is currently scheduled for 10/21 at 7p but they have issues with this and so the game date or time may be changed by the North East District Athletic Board, I will post an update as I know more. Attached are the brackets for the three sports.

Cross Country WCAL Championship: This Saturday at 2p we will play host to the WCAL cross country meet located at Wooster High school. Come out and cheer on your Huskies against the rest of the county! Please note that this year the league is requiring us to charge a parking fee of $10 per carload, so grab some friends and split the cost! Map attached below.

Middle School Volleyball: As the girls close out their regular season we look to Saturday for the WCAL Tournament. Seeding for the tournament, and with it game time and opponent, are not yet done as they tournament directors need this week's results to finalize the bracket. An update will be sent out when that information becomes available. Good Luck Girls!
