Director of Special Programs’ Message

Dear Northwestern Community,

As a proud parent of three Northwestern alumni, it is an honor to serve as the Director of Special Programs for our district. Northwestern has been an important part of my family’s life, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that every student has opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

In my role, I oversee a variety of initiatives designed to enrich the educational experience of our students and strengthen connections with the community. This includes leading our Husky Buddies Program, where high school students mentor elementary students, helping to foster confidence, leadership, and lasting relationships. I also coordinate college visits and career-focused experiences that prepare our students for their next steps after graduation. Additionally, I guide community outreach efforts and manage other vital programs that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.

My goal is to provide programs that empower students to discover their strengths, build meaningful connections, and prepare for bright futures. I am proud to work alongside our talented staff and supportive families to continue building a strong tradition of excellence at Northwestern.
