Upcoming formal planning meetings:
1. Special BOE Meeting July 23 9:00AM with the Board of Education, administrators, employees in a work session focused on the school restart and on-line learning option - located in the HS Library.
2. Special BOE Meeting July 27 6:30PM community forum in HS Gymnasium with discussion regarding school restart plan and on-line education option. Anyone welcome as we practice social distancing. Masks highly recommended - except when speaking.
3. Special BOE Meeting Aug. 3 6:30PM in HS Gymnasium. It is anticipated the formal restart plan will be recommended for Board approval on Aug. 3.
Also, as a point of clarification regarding extracurriculars for school-aged students. I want everyone to understand that every student who is a resident of Northwestern is able to participate in extracurricular activities regardless of where or how they are educated. This is in accordance with school district policy and state law.
Let's work together to practice health safety and plan on how we can most effectively continue the strong education and supports we provide our children while protecting all of our students, school employees, and our Northwestern families in these challenging times - together as a community!
