Last week Northwestern was visited by a delegation of West Virginia school officials and elected representatives. There were also several visitors from Charles River Labs in Ashland and a few other Ohio school teachers. Our Ohio House Representative Scott Wiggam was also present.
County Superintendents and West Virginia House/Senate members wanted to better learn how to make their schools STEM-focused. Being the first K-12 STEM District in the State of Ohio, they came to us for some answers/guidance and one County Superintendent wants to do a follow-up visit with members of his county's schools to visit each of our three buildings to begin the work there.
